    The Senate is relatively low on my priority list for a couple of reasons. First, of course, it’s a much less powerful & politically relevant body than the House. And it’s also well behind the House in terms of technology: their data isn’t nearly as structured or sophisticated as the House’s, which makes automated coverage difficult.

    But of course I’m interested to see how many people would want Senate information.

    I hope your answer is not an answer of a political nature because The Senate is a very powerful and important body, a cornerstone of our Democratic Constitutional Monarchy, and should be considered as much until it is disbanded. To just dismiss it because they're behind with their technology a little bit is not really a good excuse when it comes to scrutinizing the highest power in the land, does it not?

    May I remind everyone that while the Senate can not introduce any Appropriations bills (Bills affecting taxation and collection), it can introduce bills, motions, and reports on every other subject matter delegated to the Federal Government and the authority of Parliament and it's Officers/Servants. Also, the Senate has equal legal powers when holding Ministers and Public servants to account. They also debate very sensitive and important issues, events, and aspects that effect each and every Canadian.
