Huawei has been known to have strong ties to the Chinese military. Our major allies, including the Five Eyes and our European partners have already banned Huawei from its 5G network for fear of the Chinese government using Huawei to spy on us. Now that our major cell phone and internet providers have turned to other companies, why is the Liberal government still showing reluctance in banning Huawei outright?
